Founded by Larry and carried on by Mitch, Zavtech is Owen Sound's overhead door crew, backed by over 25 years in the trade.
Larry Zavitz, our Senior Door Guy and founder, has been installing and servicing commercial and residential door systems across Grey and Bruce Counties for over 25 years. As an Electronics Engineering Technician, Larry is an effective problem solver, and his integrity and honesty shaped the whole attitude at Zavtech.
In 2022, Mitch Yurkiw, born and raised in Owen Sound and an Electronics Engineering Technician himself, purchased Zavtech from Larry and promised to carry on his dedication to customers. Today the door guys and the office run seven deep: Griffin heads up sales, Steve manages projects, Jeff runs service, Josh splits tech and marketing, Danielle keeps operations and scheduling on rails, and Larry is still on the tools.
